Ann Kunkel

Anna (Ann) Lee Kunkel, (Hemmelgarn, Roessner) was born on August 29, 1935 in Burkettsville, Oh to the late Joseph T. and Mary (Backs) Hemmelgarn.  She died on September 30, 2019 at the Atrium Hospital in Middletown, Oh.  She is survived by her husband of 27 years John (Jack) Kunkel.  She is also survived by 5 children:  Daniel (Rebecca) Roessner, Dean (Anne) Roessner, Ann (Rob) Lockwood, Julie Wilson and Anthony Roessner.  She was the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by 1 brother and 1 sister and their spouses:  Ed (Mary Ann) Hemmelgarn and Eileen (Harold) Heuker.

She is proceeded in death by her first husband Charles (Chuck) Roessner and her daughter Jane (David) Tavolier.  She is also proceeded in death by 7 siblings.

Ann lived a full live with 2 husbands.  With Chuck she had 6 children and worked hard to see that they were all well taken care of.  They enjoyed Square Dancing and cards.  With Jack, she saw the world via their many travels and found happiness in their North Carolina home in the mountains.  She will be missed by all of us left behind.
