Barbara Scharlow Johnson

Barbara Scharlow Johnson, beloved wife to the late Edward Johnson, age 98 of Springdale, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022. Barbara was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on November 21, 1924 to Otto and Margaret (Maloney) Scharlow. She married Edward Johnson and together they loved to travel the world. Barbara was a real estate agent and a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Barbara is survived by her son, Gary (Cindy) Johnson; grandchildren, Chris Johnson and Beth (Ryan) Morrow; and five great-grandsons, Dean, Liam, Levi, Jaxson, and Cole Morrow. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Johnson; son, Jeffrey Johnson; and daughter-in-law, Sharon (Benedict) Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at White Oak Christian Church, 1500 Ross Millville Road, Hamilton, on Monday, December 5, 2022. Where Barbara's loved ones will be receiving friends and family at 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.

Internment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery, Ohio at 12:30 PM.
