She was a loving mother to Michael (Barbara) Kieffer, Margaret Ann (Thomas) Agoston, and Matthew (Cheri) Kieffer. Bernice found tranquility and joy in her garden, where she nurtured not only her plants but also the beauty that surrounded her. Her passion for the outdoors glimmered in her eyes, especially during visits to the family farm in New York. Alongside her green thumb, Bernice was an avid reader whose adventures in literature transported her to countless worlds, each story sparking her imagination anew.
Faith was a cornerstone of Bernice’s life; she held God close to her heart. Her participation in the Women’s Bible Study at church allowed her to share her faith, becoming a beacon of strength for many. Bernice exemplified kindness and compassion, teaching those around her the importance of treating one another with love and respect.
