Born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio the only child of George and Doris Little, Betty's life would span almost 8 and a half decades. During her life she had many notable accomplishments and joined the College of Pharmacy at The Ohio State University at the impressive age of 16. While attending college, she would meet the love of her life, Dr. Daniel Allen Farwick D.V.M, through a mutual love of horse riding. Dan and Betty married in 1955 and started their family with their first of four adoptions in 1957. They would have six children and remain married until Dan's passing in May of 1992.

After Dan's death, and with her children grown and married, Betty continued to stay busy. A lover of the water, Betty was known for skiing, boating along her favorite vacation spot in Lake Cumberland, and could be seen regularly at water aerobics classes at the local YMCA. She was a court advocate and volunteer for The Warren County Women's Abuse Shelter, a devoted member and volunteer for St. Susanna Parish and school and actively volunteered for the community in Otterbein, which she called home. An cancer survivor, Betty was a very giving person who loved life and all it offered.

Betty was a talented musician, who played in a traveling accordion band as a young girl and kept a lifelong love for God, family, horses, football, gardening, bird watching and reading. A true Buckeye till the end, she touted ‘Go Bucks!’ in her hospital bed.
