Cathy Sue Abbott

Cathy Sue Abbott, born September 26, 1959 to Ronald and Della Heineman, passed away on December 7, 2023.  Cherished mother of Corie (Kevin) O'Brien and Kelly (Garrett) Retz, loving grandmother of Noah O'Brien, Ella O'Brien, Julia Retz, Gerogia Retz, and Samuel Retz, and dear sister of Ronald (Barbara) Heineman and Darren (Linda) Heineman.  Cathy was a proud and dedicated bus driver for Mason City Schools.  She loved a good prank, bird watching, and spending weekends at the horse farm.  She will be deeply missed by many.  The family will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home - 400 Reading Rd., Mason, OH 45040 on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM, with a memorial service to follow beginning at 2:00 PM.
