Charlie Napier

November 17, 1925 — September 2, 2015

Charlie (Charles) Napier, Born in Clay County, Kentucky on November 17, 1925, passed away on September 2, 2015. Charlie served our country in the 70th Infantry Division 1944-1946. He married Lois Jean Bowling in June of 1948. Charlie was employed by Frigidaire for 30 years. He accepted Christ as his savior in 1963 and was a faithful Sunday School teacher, trustee and Deacon. Charlie is preceded in death by his wife Lois Napier, children Charles Napier Jr. and William Napier. He is survived by his brother Rosco Napier, children: Linda Roper and Mary Ann Strunk, Grandchildren: Jody Roper, Brian Napier, Tony Napier, Charles Strunk, Sarah Roper, Christina Strunk, John Roper, and Melinda Strunk, Great Grand Children: Ryan Napier, Madison Strunk, Brady Roper, Emersen Roper, Austin Barton, Ryan Barton, Owen Barton, Hayden Barton, Isabella Myers, Ava Myers, Charles Strunk, Jackson Strunk, Beau Rawlings, and Baby "G" due in October. Charles loved his family, gardening, working his vegetable stand, squirrel hunting, fishing, and genuinely cared for people. Family of Charlie will be receiving guests for a visitation from 12:00 - 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home - Mason, with a funeral service to follow beginning at 2:00 PM.
