Coy "David" Sparks

Navy Veteran, Coy "David" Sparks, born October 6, 1946, passed away January 8, 2018. David is survived by Dawn and Cory Philippi, dear siblings Inez (Jeff) Young, Rebecca (Ben) Walden, and Steve (Kaye) Sparks, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. David was extremely active and involved in the Shriners as a Trustee, a member of Montgomery Lodge 94, the American Legion, the Oriental Band, Widow's Son, Masons and Scottish Rite. David was also very involved in the fundraising group Mini Racers. The family of David will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home - Mason (400 Reading Rd., Mason, OH 45040) on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with a memorial service to follow beginning at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Shriners or The American Legion. A celebration of life ceremony will take place following the memorial service at the Shrine Temple (9730 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45215) from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
