**In Loving Memory of Daniel Lee Jones**
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Lee Jones, a devoted resident of Sharonville, Ohio, who left this world on August 14, 2024. Daniel was a true pillar of our community, embodying selflessness and bravery during his commendable 25-year tenure with the Sharonville Department. His unwavering dedication to the safety and well-being of others highlighted his character; with each heroic endeavor, he helped save countless lives, showcasing the extraordinary courage required in such a demanding profession.
Beyond the call of duty, Daniel found joy in the great outdoors, with hunting being one of his cherished pastimes. Whether lost in quiet reflection amidst nature or sharing adventures with loved ones and friends, these moments were filled with laughter and treasured memories. Additionally, Daniel had a profound passion for Corvettes. He admired their sleek design and exhilarating performance, finding joy in both the beauty and mechanics of these iconic cars, which brought him endless thrills throughout his life.
Above all, Daniel’s greatest love was for his family. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Tina, and his beloved children: daughter Lindsay Horlander (Dan) and son Daniel Jones (Dausha). He took immense pride in being a grandfather to his cherished grandchildren—Bryson, Ian, Kymber, Brystal, Gus, and Lemontine. He is also survived by his sister, Deborah Woods (Jeff), and brother-in-law, Steve Eggers, and brother-in-law Jeff Byrd who will hold his memory dear.
Daniel is preceded in death by his sister, Denise Eggers, whose absence he felt deeply.
Daniel will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will live on through the lives he touched and the legacy of love and compassion he leaves behind. Indeed, the most significant mark he made was through his exemplary role as a husband, father, brother, and grandfather—a legacy of kindness that will endure in the hearts of many.
