David Cook

David Cook, born August 9, 1944, passed away September 11, 2016.  Beloved son of Harold and Charlotte Cook, loving husband of 42 years to Beatrice Cook (Nee Frommel), cherished father of Jennifer Cook, dear brother of Daniel (Carolyn) Cook, Denise (Gary) Clift, beloved uncle of Marilyn, Jannette, Jamie, Nina, Nathan, Tom, and Steve, and dear friend to many.  David enjoyed woodworking, camping, and being outside.  He put others first, always lending a helping hand.  David loved people, never hindered an idea, and most of all, he loved spending time with his family.  The family of David will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040) on Friday, September 16, 2016, from 12 Noon - 1:30 PM, with a funeral service to follow beginning at 1:30 PM.  Donations may be made in honor of David to the Hyde Park Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
