Edward Michael Oravec

Edward Michael Oravec, a cherished resident of Mason, Ohio, departed this life on February 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and service. A proud veteran, Edward dedicated his life to his country as a member of The United States Air Force, exemplifying the spirit of duty and commitment.

He was a devoted husband to Diane, whose companionship brought him joy and solace throughout the years. As a father, Edward’s heart was full as he nurtured his children: David (Ginnny Friend), Karen (Dave) Wheeler, Brian (Lisa Wilt), and Simon (Ray) Saeheng. His unyielding support and guidance shaped their lives and instilled in them the values he held dear.

Edward's family was further blessed by his role as a grandfather, relishing in the laughter and achievements of his beloved grandchildren: Juliette Wheeler, Mariah Wheeler, Madison Oravec, Emma Oravec, Jessica Saeheng, and Justin Saeheng. Their bright smiles and boundless energy brought immense joy to his life.

He is mourned by all who knew him, especially his family, who will always remember him with love. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Julia Oravec, as well as his brother, Jim Oravec.

His memory will endure in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him in return, a testament to a life well-lived and cherished.
