UNITED STATES AIR FORCE KOREAN WAR VETERAN

GAFFNEY, Eugene "Gene" F. Adored husband of Dixie Jean Gaffney (Bice-Knabe) and the late Marjorie Gaffney (Stark). Passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at age 83. Gene leaves his cherished sister, Beverly Boehle of Spokane, WA; his beloved children and stepchildren: Michael (Kristin) Gaffney, the late David (Kim) Gaffney, Kathleen (Sean) Lehmkuhl, Susan Knabe, David (Barbara) Knabe and Dr. Peter (Mary) Knabe; thirteen grandchildren: Christopher (Stephine) and Stephanie Gaffney, Taylor and Brittany Dynes, Nicholas and Jessica Gaffney, Morgan, Holly and Alex Lehmkuhl, Connor and Carson Knabe, Andrea and Emily Knabe as well as three great-grandchildren: Justin, Audrielle and Sawyer Gaffney; and, his beloved Brittany, Molly. Loving nieces, nephews and cousins live across the United States from Hawaii to the east
coast. Friends may greet family from 10:30AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at St. Susanna Parish, 616 Reading Rd., Mason, OH 45040. A reception will immediately follow. The National Museum of the United States Air Force was dear to his heart so the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Air Force Museum Foundation, Inc., National Museum of the United States Air Force, 1100 Spaatz St., Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio 45433-7102.
