In Loving Memory of Eula Pelfrey
Eula Geneva Pelfrey, born in Griffen Kentucky, December 24, 1931, was the daughter of the late Jefferson Franklin and Sarah Elizabeth "Sallie "Gibson Dobbs.
She passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at age 81, at Heritage Springs Nursing Home in West Chester, Ohio.
On December 23, 1950, she united in marriage with John Robert Pelfrey, who passed away on July 23, 1990.
To this union, three daughters and one son survive: Linda Jernigan, Steve Pelfrey, Vickie Fibbe, and Annette Kitchen.
Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, Marty; Beth; Matthew; Sarah; Paul Martin; PFC Fibbe, Frank; Nathan; Brent; and Michael; along with 2 great grandchildren, Anthony and Lucian. She is preceded in death by her sisters Lula Gregory, Alta Dobbs, Lora Dobbs, Lorene Dobbs, and Lizzie Inman with her brothers Leaman Dobbs and Leo Dobbs. Her surviving siblings are Opal Gregory, Lois Bell, and Franklin Dobbs with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends to mourn her passing.
She will be sadly missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 5:00PM - 7:00PM, Monday, May 27, 2013 at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home, 400 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Funeral service will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, May 28th, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Hamilton County Parks Foundation, 10245 Winton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
