Evelyn "Irene" Ferguson

Evelyn Irene Ferguson (Nee Whittaker), born May 3, 1940, in Marseilles, Ohio, passed away July 24, 2016. Survived by beloved daughter Lisa (John) Heckler, cherished grandchildren Ben Heckler, age 15, and Drew Heckler, age 12, and loving sisters Nancy Ellen Baker and Alma Jean Hensel. Preceded in death by dear parents Walter and Nancy Whittaker, and beloved siblings Anna Genevra Imbody, Clara Olive Drake, Walter Warren Whittaker Jr., Kenneth Francis Whittaker, and Robert Whittaker. Irene was a teacher of the Oak Hills School district, loved her church, and was a member of the United Methodist Church. She also loved theatre and the Cincinnati Zoo. The family of Irene will be receiving friends for a visitation at the United Methodist Church (6315 Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040) on Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 9:00 AM - 10:30AM, with a funeral service to begin at 10:30 AM.
