It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ferris E. Rasnick, of West Chester, Ohio, who departed this life surrounded by the warmth of his loving family on March 22, 2025. Ferris was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Johnnie, with whom he shared many cherished years.
Known affectionately as "Uncle Pancakes," Ferris held a special place in the hearts of his family, particularly his nephew, Joe. He was a beloved brother to Judy Phipps, Patsy (Bill) Spaeth, Quinton (Sharon) Rasnick, and Bobby Jo Rasnick, and leaves behind a legacy of love in the form of numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Ferris found true joy in the splendor of nature, particularly during days spent golfing, where his remarkable skill earned him multiple hole-in-ones. His passion for outdoor activities extended beyond the driving range; whether playing horseshoes or engaging in spirited games of bowling, Ferris was a master of strategy and camaraderie, always thriving in the company of family and friends.
The essence of Ferris's character shone brightly in his enjoyment of life, where happiness was found not merely in victory but in the laughter and love shared with those around him. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends alike.
May we honor his memory by embracing the joy he brought into our lives and the dedication he showed to those he loved.
