GILBERT, Frances H. (nee Hudson)- Beloved wife of the late William Gilbert. Devoted mother of Karen Bodenbender and Keith (Bev) Gilbert. Loving grandmother of Debora (Todd) Carpenter, David (Monique) Bodenbender, Diane Bodenbender, Brian Gilbert, Linda Gilbert and the late Derek Bodenbender. Dearest great grandmother of Marie and Karl Bodenbender. Dear aunt of John (the late Ayako) Meyers, Mary Lee (nee Meyers) (the late A.J. Jr.) Robertson and M. Richard "Dick" (Carole) Lynn. Passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at age 95. Frances was a lifelong Mason resident and a pillar of the community. She was involved in Girl Scouts, Mason Historical Society, Mason Grange, Heritage Presbyterian Church and Eastern Star. Frances made Mason a better place to live. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM-7:00PM with Eastern Star service at 6:45 PM on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home, 400 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Friends may also greet family from 11:00AM until time of service at 12Noon on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Heritage Presbyterian Church, 6546 S. Mason Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.
