KAIMER, Frederick R. Jr. ("Bud"). Age 84, passed away peacefully, family at his side, Monday April 8th, 2013 at Emeritus Long Cove Point, Mason, Ohio. He was born February 13, 1929 in New Haven, Connecticut, the only son of Frederick R. Kaimer Sr. and Kathryn (Hugo) Kaimer. He graduated from Cornell University and served in the U.S. Air Force, eventually joining the General Electric Company where he worked in various plant locations until ultimately settling in Cincinnati, Ohio in the GE Aircraft Engine Division as Employee Relations Manager until he retired. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joan (Rothmann) Kaimer of Maineville, Ohio and sister Dorothy (Dot) Zech (husband, Bud) of York, Pennsylvania; children Kathy Olsberg (husband, Ron) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, daughter Kris Kaimer of Cincinnati, Ohio and son Steve Kaimer (wife, Jennifer) of Pleasant Plain, Ohio; five grandchildren, Maggie Rougier-Chapman (husband, Duncan), Kelly Donnelly (husband, Michael), Josie Kaimer, Craig Kaimer and Ericka Kaimer; six great-grandchildren; Conner, Samantha & Graeme Rougier-Chapman and Shea, Daithi & Frances Donnelly. He was a man of great principles believing in fairness and doing the "right" thing both in family life and in his chosen profession. He loved his rose garden and the beauty of that one special bloom, the joys of a perfect martini and a cigar on the deck watching the sunset. He took great pride in providing for his family and in their accomplishments. Husband, father, councilor & friend - he will be greatly missed. His family will receive friends at The Community of the Good Shepard Church, 8815 East Kemper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45249 on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 11:00AM until time of funeral mass at 12:00noon.
