Frieda Orlick

Frieda Johanna Kumfert Orlick passed away at Liberty Retirement Community in Centerville, Ohio on February 4,2015. She is survived by her children Christa Bringman and Herbert (Diana) Orlick; her grandchildren Matthew (Caryn) Bringman, Peter (Mandy) Bringman and Stephen Orlick; and her great-grandchildren Ethan, Samuel, Theodore and Hayes Bringman; and her sister Lydia Vehling, niece Linda Vehling and nephew Reimund (Anne) Vehling of Germany. Her husband Kurt and son Richard preceded her in death. Frieda was born on March 7, 1929, in Lithuania, to Adolf and Johanna Kumfert. After relocating to West Germany during World War II, she married Kurt in August, 1950. They emigrated to the United States in 1952, eventually residing in Cincinnati, Ohio. A seamstress by vocation, she also enjoyed other needle arts and gardening, in addition to caring for her family.
