Gary Wayne Stapleton passed away on June 26th 2024 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born July 25th, 1948, in Virginia. He eventually moved to Mason, Ohio where he lived with his wife and children.
Then retired to Maineville, Ohio with his wife. Gary was proud to have served in the United States Army. He had many careers in his life, police officer, coach, photographer. However, his most enjoyable career was being a school bus driver. Gary loved photography and spent his life capturing memories wherever he could, especially close up shots at the zoo and of his family. Football was the sport he watched the most and he tirelessly supported the Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed fishing, collecting model cars and feeding the birds on his back porch. Even with all his careers and hobbies, his heart and soul belonged to his children and grandchildren. He loved spending every second he could with them. He told them how they were his whole life and he always “loved them more.” Gary is deeply loved by his family and will forever be dearly missed.
Gary is lovingly survived by his wife Pam Stapleton, his mother Audrey Stapleton, his children, Lisa Dillingham (Rob), Rhonda Rathbun (Derek), Mandy Bramble (Matt), his grandchildren, Sam and Kayden Steward, Audrey Dillingham and Henry Rathbun. Gary will forever be remembered in their hearts. He is preceded in death by his father Charles Stapleton and his daughter Lori Stapleton, whom he will be buried with.
His family will be having a private memorial
