George Wilson Jr.

George Allen Wilson Jr. from Deer Park, Ohio, passed on January 22, 2018 at 89. He was married to Beverly A. Wilson of Kokomo, Indiana who passed on in May 2016 for 67 years. Beloved father of George (Amy) Wilson, Sherra Wilson, Mark Wilson and Robert (Stephanie) Wilson. Respected grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  George had an illustrious career as an Engineer at General Electric, Williams Research and Aeronca Aerospace.   He was a member of the Mason Council and had a short tenure as the Mayor of Mason. The family of George will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home – Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040) 0n Friday, January 26, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM with a funeral service being held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
