Glen Orval Boston, Jr., age 92, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born August 7, 1925 in Canton, Ohio, the son of Glen O. and Edith Boydelatour Boston.
He received his Bachelor degree in Engineering at Case Western Reserve University and after serving as a Lieutenant in the Navy in World War II, he earned his Masters in Engineering at the Chicago Institute of Technology. Glen worked at the Ford Motor Company for thirty years, retired, and then was an Engineering professor at Miami University in Ohio for another ten years. He was an avid fisherman, baseball enthusiast, but his passion was golf.
He is preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Shirley Ann Boston, and his sister Myrtle Mastell. He has four children, Glen Boston III, Lisa Jones, Lori Boston, and Jill Boston. He has seven grandchildren, Jonathan Boston, Christian Jones, Jack Jones,Amy Fuller, Terri Palmer, Jessica Tice, Mathew Tice and eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Association.
