A beloved daughter, granddaughter, mother, sister and friend, Heather Anne Boling passed away on September 19, 2019. She was born on September 8, 1984 in Norfolk, Virginia to Jack and Dorothy Boling. Heather grew up in Loveland Ohio, where she lived until she enlisted in the United States Airforce. She served our country for ten years as a Staff Weather Officer.
Heather was a lover of adventure, relationships, gardening, fitness, hiking and storm chasing. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. She was funny, outgoing and vivacious; however she had a blend of also being introverted and introspective. We will always remember her infectious laugh, her zest for Team Rubicon and her commitment to help all lost animals find a home. We will smile when we remember her focus and determination to train like a beast and her many Instagram posts encouraging all of us to get up and do the same. She received many medals, awards and recognition for her effort and commitment, one of which was being recognized as a published author however her greatest accomplishment she ever created were her two sons, Colin and Tristan.
The friend, daughter, mom that she was to all of us will not be forgotten and the waves of grief that wash over us will remind us how sorely she is missed. The little girl with beautiful hazel eyes that danced to her own beat and grew up to be a strong woman full of life is once again dancing free. In her own words, "life is short and meant for making memories. When you get to the next life you take nothing but memories and relationships with you."
When you think of Heather, celebrate the sweet memories you have of her. Remember that life is precious and so are the memories we get to make.
Heather was preceded in death by her grandfather Larry Anderson and her mother Dorothy Boling and dear friend Wanda Kendall. She leaves behind her father Jack, significant other John Blagg, sons Colin and Tristan, half-sisters Nancy, Lisa, Sarah, half-brother Jay, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, September 25th at Crossroads Mason in the chapel located at 990 Reading Road, Mason Ohio.
The ceremony is followed by Heather's favorite ice cream, Cherry Cordial.
