Irma Jean Palmer, 84, went to her Heavenly Home with her Lord at 7 AM Tuesday (July 21, 2020) at Bethesda North Hospital.
Irma was born May 5, 1936 in Warren county, daughter of the late Wm. Ross and Mary Villars.
She was a life long member of the Olive Branch United Methodist Church and active in the Women's Society. She is/was a member of the Mason Grange, Miami Chapter #107 Order of the Eastern Star, Harveysburg Alumni, (retired bus drivers group) and 59'ers club.
She retired after driving a must for 34 years for the Clinton-Massie School District. She loved all her kids as she called them, especially the kindergartners. The stories she could tell about her experiences over the years were amazing. She loved working Find-A-Words and her cat patches. She had many wonderful friends and neighbors over the years.
She is survived by her daughter Tanya (Mike) Woodford, granddaughter Sara (Mat) Rodgers, grandsons Kurt and Keith Woodford, great-grandchildren Tiegan and Scarlett Rodgers and Brody Woodford, sister Carol Wells, many nieces and nephews as well as cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Palmer and her brother John R. (Dick) Villars.
Funeral services will be at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home (400 Reading Rd., Mason, OH 45040) on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 with a visitation from 11:00 AM - 12 Noon with a funeral service to follow beginning at 12 Noon. Burial will immediately follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Olive Branch United Methodist Church.
