James "Poppy" Moseley

Vietnam Veteran – James A. Moseley “Poppy”, born November 28, 1946 and raised in Guin, Alabama, passed away at the Ohio Home for Veterans, on February 22, 2023.  James is survived by his wife of many years and life-long companion Rita Moseley, beloved son Jamie (Lisa Moseley) and daughter Shelly Moseley, dear grandchildren Andrew Moseley, Dakota Adams, Austin Adams, Abby Barrett, and cherished great-grandchildren Tilly, Adrian, and Aspen. James was an Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam.  He was a loyal and dedicated Alabama Football Fan, enjoyed hunting, had a love for listening to music, and spending time with his family and dear friends.  The family of James will be receiving friends for a Celebration of Life Ceremony at Lake Isabella at the Riverside Lodge (10174 E Loveland Madeira Rd, Loveland, OH 45140) on Saturday, March 11, 2023, beginning at 3:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor and memory of James to the Georgetown Veterans Home.
