Janice Combs Stringer

Janice Elizabeth Combs Stringer passed peacefully on 11/14/16. She was born on 11/12/39. She lived most of her life in Mason and West Chester, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her mother Martha Pierson Combs Oglesby, her father Francis Marion (Bus) Combs, her step father Lonnie Oglesby, her niece Sarah (Sallie) Frank McKemie and her best friend JR Barnes.
She is survived by her sister Jennifer (Jennie) Combs McKemie, her brother in law Frank McKemie, her step brother Gary Oglesby, her step sister in law Peggy Oglesby, two nieces, two nephews, two great nieces and five great nephews.
She was a 1957 graduate of Mason High School. She enjoyed gardening and was a great cat lover.
Janice was very much loved by her family. She was a steadfast letter writer and sent letters and cards to her sister and nieces several times a month. She was often known to include a two dollar bill for her great niece and nephews for them to save for college. We will miss her very much.
Visitation will be Friday, 11-18-16 at Shorten-Ryan Funeral Home in  Mason with visitation from 11 to 1pm and a service at 1pm.  Burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery In Mason.
