Jesse V. Dye, born March 20, 1933, passed away February 12, 2017. Survived by beloved children Barry Michael (Nancy) Dye, Sandra (Robert) Cobb, Daniel Ray (Bridgett) Dye, 8 cherished grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, dear brother Vertis (Joann) Dye, Danny Ray (Debbie) Dye, Virginia (the late Pirk) Elliot, Willa Dean (the late Edward) Shockey, Colleen (Norman) Combs, Ila (the late Charlie) Simmons, and Ina York. Preceded in death by loving parents Cecil and Desda Lee Dye, wives Elizabeth Dye and Naomi Dye, daughter Joyce Ann Dye, and brother William Kenneth Dye. Jesse was a shade tree mechanic, loved to garden, feel the squirrels, woodworking, sunflowers, and most of all spending time with his family. The family of Jesse will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040) on Wednesday, from 10:00 AM - 12 Noon with a funeral service to follow beginning at 12 Noon.
