John Murvay

Navy Veteran, John William "Bill" Murvay, born June 13, 1945, of Lebanon, Ohio, passed away January 22, 2018.  Bill is survived by cherished children Michelle (Kevin) Faus, Mindy (Curtis) Jefferson, Kevin (Laura) Murvay, Karen (Stephen) Franz, and honorary son Paul Wallace, dear grandchildren Katelyn Hayes, Kelsey Hayes, Jessica Murvay, Andrew Murvay, Celeste Blandon, Jon William Cole, Isaac Jefferson, Kati Franz, great-grandchildren Jase Hayes, Tylee Lanpher, and Gavin Murvay, beloved siblings Charlotte Pinckney, Della Wells, James Louis Murvay, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Bill is preceded in death by his loving wife Phylis Joy Murvay, parents Louis and Mary Katherine Murvay, and sister Lois Shifflet.  The family of Bill will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home - Mason (400 Reading Rd., Mason, OH 45040) on Saturday, January 27, 2018, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM with a memorial service to follow beginning at 3:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kids Diabetic Fund.
