Dear daughter of Mary (The Late A.G) McFarland, loving wife of the late Mike Smith, beloved mother of Timothy Smith, Mary Smith, Sarah Smith, stepmother of Andrew Smith, Rebecca Smith, Jennifer (Matt) Harrell, and Christopher Smith, cherished sister of Michael (Tammy) McFarland and Sharon (Dorian) Grubaugh, loving grandmother of Caylee Johnson, Kendall Harrell, Thomas Harrell, Vanessa Smith, James McCord, Brooklyn McCord, and Skyler McCord, and cherished aunt of Julie, Aaron, Matthew, Sean, Alexander, Kyle, and Dominic. Katherine enjoyed watching movies(her favorite being the Thorn Birds) and spending time at home with her children and family. The family of Katherine will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040) on Sunday, June 12, 2016, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM with a funeral service to follow beginning at 4:00 PM.
