Kathleen Marshall

August 26, 1948 — January 12, 2022

Mason

Kathleen (Kathy) Ann Marshall (nee Schutte), the oldest daughter of Robert and Sara Schutte, passed away in the early morning hours of January 12, 2022. She lived in Mason, Ohio for all of her early life. She attended Mason High School and then went on to complete 2 years at Ohio State University. She married Franklin H. Marshall on January 24, 1969. They moved to Philadelphia and had 3 children Megan, Kira, and Caitlin. Kathleen worked as a Veterinary Technician, an Ophthalmic Technician, and finished her career as a Clinical Coordinator at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She worked incredibly hard her entire life and she loved working for CHOP. She loved it so much that she would not retire until the study she was working was completed.

She was preceded in death by her husband Franklin H. Marshall and her daughter Kira A. Marshall.
She loved singing at church, being a girl scout leader, baking cookies for Christmas, sending cards to tell people she was thinking about them, and overall was the nicest person you will ever meet.

Kathleen was lucky enough to find love later in life with Kerry Ketring. They spent 2 years together between Florida and Ohio and were engaged to be married.

She is survived by her daughters Megan Marshall, Caitlin Marshall, her grandson Beckett Marshall, her siblings Diane Wira, Sue Miller, Rob Schutte, and Andy Schutte and their spouses Mike Wira, Gary Miller, Betsy Schutte, and Linda Schutte as well as her many nieces and nephews.
