Kenneth Martin "Marty" Foltz

Kenneth Martin "Marty" Foltz of Mason, Ohio, passed away on March 13, 2023 at U.C. West Chester Hospital, West Chester, Ohio. He was born January 17, 1962 in Lafayette, Indiana to Kenneth E. Foltz and the late Carolyn M. (Sturgeon) Foltz. He was married first to Rhonda Inlow then to the late Cathy Cox. He is survived by 2 sons, Kenneth Russell (Kristin) of Aurora, Ohio and Alexander Lee (Brittany) of Waynesville, Ohio as well as 2 grandchildren Adelyn and Jase Foltz of Waynesville. He is also survived by 1 sister Shelby J. Witt (Doug) of Lebanon, Ohio.

He attended Mason High School and graduated in 1980. He was an Eagle Scout of troop 43 in Mason and also served as Master Councilor with Mason Chapter of Order of DeMolay. Marty worked for HTNA in Lebanon until his declining health forced him to retire in 2021. He loved the out-of-doors and especially enjoyed the annual fly fishing trips with his dad and cousins to various trout streams from Virginia to Arkansas. He was witty and loved a good joke and sitting around a campfire with friends and family.

Services will be at Shorten-Ryan Funeral Home, 400 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio, on Monday, March 20, 2023 with a visitation from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and service to follow beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial take place immediately following the funeral service at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society in memory of his mother or the American Cancer Society in memory of his wife, Cathy.

Marty would have wanted casual dress for his service.
