West Chester, Ohio- Lance William McCord, 77, passed away on
Thursday
January 26,
2017
at the Hospice of Cincinnati following a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of 54 years, Betty (Oxenford) McCord; his son, Mark McCord; his daughter, Heather (McCord) Tade; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Reading, Pennsylvania, son of Clarence and Catherine McCord, he resided in many different states as an adult. Lance was a devoted husband and a loving father and will be greatly missed.
The family will be holding a memorial service
at Lord of Life Lutheran Church (
6329 Tylersville Rd.,
West Chester Twsnshp, OH, 45069) on
Saturday, February 11, 2017, beginning at
1pm.
Lance will be interred at Heidelberg Cemetery in Robesonia, PA. In lieu of flowers
the family asks donations be made to your favorite charity in his name.
