Lawrence “Larry” Robert Rohrkasse “Poppy”, 72, Suddenly passed away on December 01, 2019 near his home in Cincinnati, OH. He was born February 8, 1947 in Cincinnati Ohio. Larry was married to the late Mary Jean Rohrkasse (nee Shin). Devoted father of Lynn Ann Herzner (nee Rohrkasse) ~ Husband Lonnie Herzner. Dear son of the late Gloria Rohrkasse (nee. Brockmeyer) & Louis Rohrkasee. Proud grandfather of Deziree Evans (nee Herzner), Emily Puls (nee Herzner), and Breana & Holly Herzner. Loving great grandfather to Aayden Puls. Larry is survived by his 3 brothers and 1 sister, James Rohrkasse, Louis H. Rohrkasse, Judy Burks (nee Rohrkasse), & Andy Rohrkasse. He was proceeded in death by Mary Jean Rohrkasse (nee Shin) and Lynn Ann Swoboda (nee Rohrkasse). Larry will be remembered fondly by his family and friends as a loving father and “Poppy”. Besides spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchild he enjoyed football, vacationing to Gatlinburg or Indiana Beach, and spending time with his cat, Nala. He was a kind, loving & spoiling grandpa. He will be greatly missed and forever loved. A small private family memorial will be held on December 14th at 12PM in the afternoon at Shorten & Ryan Funeral Home located at 400 Reading Rd. Mason OH, 45040. Donations can be made in Larry’s name to St. Vincent DePaul.
