Linda Lou Young

Linda Lou Young, (Nee Rayburn), of Morrow, Ohio passed away on April 13, 2025. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 30, 1941, to late Frank and Rose (Nee Abner) Rayburn.

Linda was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, the late Floyd, who will be waiting for her in peace, and a proud mother of three: Jeff (Faye) Young, Lisa (Steve) Cohen, and Mike Young. She shared a special bond with her siblings, Frank, James (Vicki), and Gary (Sharon), and was a loving sister who brightened their lives. As a grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren—Jenifer (Randy) Tunison, David (Megan) Cohen, Sean (Alyssa) Young, Ashley (Stephen) Donnellon, Alicia (Trevor) Northern, and Joey Young—she embraced these precious moments with joy. Her heart expanded further as she became a caring great-grandmother to eight: Savannah Tunison, Sophia Cohen, Levi Cohen, Aiden Tunison, Ella Cohen, Carter Tunison, Julia Cohen, and Cody Northern.

Linda was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Alice Rayburn and her dear sister Ruth Ann Partin.

Linda's family gatherings were a testament to her pride as a mother and grandmother. Each dinner and family outing were occasions for laughter, storytelling, and creating countless cherished memories.

Her beautiful smile and infectious spirit made everyone feel welcome. Each family member felt a warmth that spoke of her genuine kindness. The legacy she leaves behind—a tapestry of love, family stories, and memories—will be cherished by all who know her. Every family member carries a piece of her heart, a reminder of how deeply they were loved.

Linda Lou Young will be forever missed but never forgotten. Her love will continue to bless all who had the privilege of calling her mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. As we honor her memory, we celebrate a life well-lived, rich in love and family, and find comfort in the beautiful moments we shared.
