Maria Bilban

Maria Bilban, 83 years, Devoted wife of the late Frank Bilban. Dear Mother of Frank J. (Susan) Bilban and Sylvia (John) Astrop, Cherished Grandmother of Kristina Bilban, Victoria (Chris) Edmonston, Johnathon (Emily) Astrop, Branner Astrop, and Kadelyn Astrop, Loving Great Grandmother of Gavin Astrop. Preceded in death by her parents Franc and Gertrude Logonder, passed away June 17, 2015. Maria was past President of the Catholic Women's Club, Lake County Illinois, and Maria worked at the Lake County Planning and Development Office. She was a 50 year Chicago area resident. She was born in Crn Grob, Slovenia. She volunteered her time to the American Cancer Society and Veterans Hospital. Maria also enjoyed music, art, gardening, cooking, and baking. The Family of Maria will be receiving guests for a visitation at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, with a Funeral Mass to follow beginning at 11:00 AM.
