Marilyn Nadine Behymer passed away January 21, 2025. Marilyn was a resident of Maineville. Marilyn was a loving wife to Jospeh. Marilyn was a loving mother to Gene (Laura) Mathews, Christian (Veronica) Mathews, Joseph Jr. (Ginny) Behymer, Stacy Lynn (Chris) Luckner. Marilyn was a loving grandmother to Jessica, Dillon, Damon, Ashley, Joseph, D.J., Avery, Kilian, Taylor, Brooklyn, Felix, Connor, and Becca. Marilyn was also a loving great grandmother to Gavin, Alaina, and Ivy Rose. Marilyn was a loving sister to Dick Jones and Ronnie Jones.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her daughter Shannon Nadine Mathews. Marilyn was also preceded in death by her siblings, David Jones, Nathan Jones, Fred Jones, Rick Jones, and Jerry Jones.
Her culinary talents were shared with her loving family, often sharing her delicious recipes and creations with the next generation. Her food brought comfort, joy, and will leave so many memories with her family. Cooking was not just a hobby for Marilyn; it was her way of nurturing and connecting with those she cared about from her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Marilyn would spend a lot of time watching her favorite cooking shows.
In addition to her culinary talents, Marilyn had a brilliant mind and an insatiable curiosity, which she satisfied through her love of word puzzles. Marilyn approached each puzzle with enthusiasm and determination. She found immense satisfaction in solving them, and her home was filled with completed puzzles that stood as a testament to her patience and intellect. Marilyn loved spending time immersed in a book for hours. Marilyn had a favorite football team, The Green Bay Packers. If there was ever a cheesehead that was proud to wear green and yellow, it was Marilyn.
Marilyn was a woman of great wisdom and kindness. Her gentle nature, coupled with her sharp wit, made her the one person her family knew they would trust and confide in. She had an extraordinary ability to listen, understand, and offer guidance, always with a touch of humor and a warm smile. Her family and friends knew they could count on her for support and encouragement, no matter the circumstances.
Though Marilyn may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and culinary delights will continue to inspire and bring joy to those who carry her memory forward. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Marilyn’s life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she was loved beyond words.
