Martha Hutchens

Hutchens, Martha, 93, passed away April 12, 2017 at the Lodge Nursing & Rehab Center.  She is the former Martha Bratcher.  She was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and an Elementary Teacher for over 13 years at the Mt. Airy Elementary School in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was a world traveler visiting every continent on the planet.  She loved golf and had two holes in one's in her lifetime.  She is preceded in death by her second husband, David Hutchens and her first husband John Lippert who passed in 1987, and daughter, Marilee Wilde, son Matt Lippert, and daughter Kathy Lippert. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Lippert and four grandchildren and ten Great Grandchildren.  Visitation will be at the Shorten & Ryan Funeral Home, 400 Reading Rd., Mason, Ohio 45040 on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 12 Noon - 2:00 PM with a funeral service to follow beginning at 2:00 PM.  A graveside service will follow on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery beginning at 1:00 PM.
