Mary Wood

Mary Wood (Nee Young), born October 11, 1940, passed away June 25, 2016. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Delmer Wood, her children Delmer W. (Elizabeth) Wood III, Brian "Woody" L. (Tina) Wood, and Vicki (Jeff) Hurley, and her grandchildren Sierra Wood, Austin Wood, Claire Wood, Elaine Wood, Taylor Hurley, Ashley Hurley, as well as many dear friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Elizabeth, and dear brother Michael James Young. Mary left an imprint on the hearts of many and she did not know a stranger. She loved to talk, tend to her flowers, cook, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. The family of Mary will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home - Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040) on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM with a funeral service to follow Friday, July 1, 2016 at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home - Mason, beginning at 11:00 AM.
