Mildred Poff

Mildred "Millie" Poff, born September 14, 1925, in Lebanon, Ohio, entered into rest May 4, 2016, in Mason, Ohio. Mildred was the beloved daughter of the late Earl and Mary Barnthouse, loving wife of the late John Poff, cherished mother of Susi (Denny) Brunk, Nancy (Les) Leckron, and the Late Jim Poff, dear grandmother of Earl, Jason, Ashley, Brian, Sam, Katie, Dan, and the late Davey, beloved great-grandmother of Bailey, Alyssa, Tyler, Jayden, Austin, Skylar, Rylan, Anne-Marie, Nathan, and Alex, and dear sister of Bob Barnthouse, Helen Fisher, and the late Catherine Stewart. With a brave heart and a little white lie, Millie was able to join the military (Navy) serving in the WAVES between the years 1944-1945. Millie worked part time at a farm produce stand and traveled often. The family of Millie will be receiving friends for a graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery (171 Mason Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio 45040) Saturday, May 14, 2016, beginning at 12 Noon. Following the graveside service, a reception will be held in Mildred's honor at the Mason Grange.
