Miriam "Mim" L. Williams

Miriam “Mim” L. Williams, born June 30, 1930 in North College Hill, to the late Nelson and Alice Burbank, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2023.  Loving wife of the late John Williams, cherished mother of Mark (Lisa) Williams and Tom (Sarah) Williams, adored grandmother of Sarah, Jon, Lilly, Lincoln, Nelson, and the late Mark, dear great-grandmother of Owen and Victor, beloved sister of the late Joyce Taylor, and loving family member to many extended family and dear friends.  Mim graduated from Miami University with a master’s in education.  She took this accomplishment and became a lifelong educator within Mason City Schools and beyond. She was a devoted member of Mason United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, and a proud board member serving the Mason Public Library for many years.  The family of Mim will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home – 400 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040, on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM, with a funeral service to follow beginning at 2:30 PM.
