Norma Brewer Bennett, 97, former resident of Wilmington, Ohio, died at West Chester Hospital, Tuesday, May 30th, 2017, at 9:40 P.M.
Daughter of Howell & America Sparks Brewer, she was born in Sturgeon, KY, May 29th in 1920.
Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her siblings - Clarence, Mary, Beryl, Pearl, Ruby, Georgia Rose, Urban, Theodore and Austin. Her youngest sister, Iona, survives.
Two of her children, Keith and Regina, preceded her in death with four remaining, - Larry, Lonnie, Dale & Patti. She has 19 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren.
Glen Bennett, Mrs. Bennett's husband of 68 years, died in April of 2005.
Mrs. Bennett was a dedicated Christian and church worker and influenced many lives by her selfless devotion to her family and church family. Her strongest desire in life was to make sure her descendants were in accord with each other, especially about spiritual truths.
Services will be at the Wilmington Church of Christ (Christian) on Locust St. in Wilmington Saturday, June 3 at 5:00 P.M. with a visitation at 3:00 P.M. and Ron Merkle officiating.
