Patricia Ann Richards (nee Mullen), a beloved resident of Mason, Ohio, departed this world on February 6, 2025, surrounded by the warmth of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose presence illuminated the lives of those she loved.
Pat's heart overflowed with love for her children, Cathy (Ken) Harbison and Greg (Cathie) Richards. As the matriarch of her family, she created a home filled with joy and laughter, where unforgettable memories were made. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Rick (Sara) Harbison, Jessica (Ryan) Grabeman, Kyle (John Folk) Richards, and Kacey Richards, along with her great-grandchildren, Nolan, Easton, Crosley Grabeman, and Evie, Emilia, Cooper and Scarlett Harbison. She was Mom, Grandma and GiGi and each of them held a cherished place in their heart, just as she held a special place in theirs.
Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd K. Richards, with whom she shared over 68 beautiful years. Their enduring love served as a testament to the strong bonds within the family that Pat nurtured throughout her life.
Known for her radiant spirit, Patricia had the remarkable ability to light up any room. The countless family meals and Sunday dinners, her swimming pool and the cherished vacations created some of her happiest moments. Pat was a very creative and talented lady who was able to use that talent as a floral designer. When her daughter thought it was a good idea to own a flower shop, Pat came out of retirement and was the anchor and the heart of Baysore's Flower Shop. Pat also loved watching her Mason Comets boys' basketball team and cheering on her son and favorite coach, Greg, who she was so proud of. She was the anchor for her family, a confidant who welcomed all with open arms and a listening ear, offering comfort and companionship.
Pat had a strong faith and a devotion to Mary, the Blessed Mother. Even though Pat is no longer with us, her loving spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed, yet her memory will live on as a source of inspiration and love.
