Peggy Bercaw-Trees (nee Kuhn), 87, of Warren County, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016. She was born September 21,
1928
in New Richmond, Ohio, daughter of the late Edward Paul and Frances Nell Kuhn. She was the wife of the late Everett Warren Bercaw for 36 amazing years and wife of the late Carl Irwin Trees for 18 wonderful years.
Peggy was one of the original female vocal artists who starred on early Cincinnati television, and her picture appeared on the cover of the Cincinnati TV Guide. She also was one of the early contestants for the Mrs. Ohio Pageant, she was former Miss World Trade and winner of several other beauty pageants. Peggy enjoyed entertaining with her acting and vocal talents. Even though she was offered a modeling and acting career in New York City, she chose to be a great mother and grandmother to her children. She loved to make other hurting people feel better and she modeled the love of Christ to her children.
She is survived by her children Terry (Nancy) Bercaw, Dave ( Tonya) Bercaw and Jeff (Carol) Bercaw. Grandmother of Beth (Jim) Batka, Mason, Tommi, Josh, Hannah and Emily Bercaw. Great-grandmother of Noel, Aaron, Rachel and Meghan Batka. Sister of the late William Kuhn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

at the Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home, 400 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio followed by funeral services 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral Home. Entombment 10:00 AM Monday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason.
