Richard Blair Steinau

March 6, 1943 - July 28, 2023

Richard Blair Steinau (age 80) our beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on July 28, 2023.  He is survived by his wife Shirley.  He was born in Bound Brook, New Jersey on March 6, 1943, to Howard and Margaret (Wiley) Steinau.  Richard married Shirley Finney on April 23, 1966.  They met at age 5 and have been 57 years.  They have 3 sons – James, who resides in Cincinnati with his wife Melanie. Robert, who resides in Annapolis, Maryland with his with Brooke.  Thomas, who resides in West Chester, Ohio.  Richard leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Hunter, McKenna, Sydney, and Christian. 

Richard worked at Ameriacn Cyanamid, Bound Brook, New Jersey from 1966 to 1983.  He then worked for Sun Chemical Corporation until he retired in 2008.  Richard is a member of the West Chester Twp.  Land Use Planning Committee.  Richard is predeceased by his parents, his sister Kathy Wood and his brother Joseph. 

A private service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
