Robert Dowd, born May 23, 1927 passed away November 6, 2015. Robert was the loving husband of the late Glenna D. Dowd, dear father of Judy Schnell, Roger Dowd, Robert W. Dowd, and Jeffrey Dowd, cherished brother of Louise Picket, Bill Dowd, Lena Walden, Richard, Joyce, Doris, the late Mildred Dunaway, James Dowd, Eugene Dowd, Doug Dowd, Gayle Dowd, Russell Dowd, Donald Dowd and Dorothy Dowd, beloved grandfather of Dena (David) Young, Richard W. (Jillian) Dowd, Stephen (Jennifer) Dowd, and the late Todd William Lindsey and Jana Darlene Lindsey, great grandfather of Emilee, Nathan, Zackary, Audry, Baylor, Travis, Gavin, William and Lindsey,and great-great grandfather of Leeann, Logan, Todd and Kyeleigh. Robert enjoyed Fishing, Blue Grass music, camping, and the University of Kentucky Wildcats. The family of Robert will be receiving guests for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040) on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with a service to follow beginning at 1:00 PM.
