Robert Girdler

Robert Joseph Girdler, born June 17, 1929, in Somerset, Kentucky to William and Amy Girdler, passed away surrounded by loved ones on September 24, 2020.  Loving husband of the late Anna Girdler, cherished father of Elaine (Carl) Bray, Wane Daryl Girdler, Kathy (Mike) Westall, Randal Bruce Girdler, the late Robert Jay Girdler and the late Sandra Lynn (Girdler) Gambill, beloved grandfather of Benjamin Staton, Natalie (Kayne) Kauffman, John (Kim) Gambill Jr., Brian (Karey) Gambill, Joe (Samantha) Gambill, Jessica Westall, Andrew Westall, and Rachel Girdler, and cherished brother of Bobbie Lee Rhoades, brother in law John Gambill Sr, Sister in law Ruth All Luttrell and the late Betty (Wade) Jackson and Edward Girdler. Robert was also blessed with 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces newphews and cousins he was very fond of.  He was a proud Navy Veteran, and enjoyed genealogy research and computers.  The family of Robert will be receiving friends for a graveside funeral ceremony on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 12 Noon, at the City of Lebanon Cemetery (580 W Main Street, Lebanon, OH 45036).
