Robert Peavley Jr.

Robert “Butch” Steele Peavley born December 9, 1942 passed away on December 29, 2020. Butch was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mary Elaine Peavley. Butch was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended Mason High School.

He was survived by his wife, Launa Sue Peavley, three children Amanda, Micah (Tracey), and Joseph, three grandchildren Andrea Siry, Harper and Steele Peavley, and two great grandchildren Gabe and Liam,  and siblings Jim (Connie), Jeff (Sharron), Donnie, Priscila (Jonas) Roberts,  and Scott (Pam), as well as multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Butch was a go-getter from the start and overcame many challenges.

He enjoyed a career at Sun Chemical and had a passion for cars and trains. Ultimately, his greatest love was for his wife of 36 years, Launa Sue (Thompson) Peavley and his 3 children and grandchildren.

Butch never knew a stranger and offered help to anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation for friends and family will be held at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home from 10:00-12:00 followed by a service and burial on Tuesday, January 5, 2020.
