Ronald L. Lehman II, passed away on April 27, 2024, in Cincinnati, OH. Born on March 31, 1961, in Columbus, OH to Florence C. Compton and Ronald L. Lehman Sr. Ron was a resident of Mason, OH and a pillar of the community he so dearly loved.
In Junior High Ron was a member of the boy scouts where he earned the distinguished award of being an eagle scout, He was a graduate of Whetstone High School, class of 1979, shortly after graduating he entered the US Navy where he proudly served his country as a corpsman for 5 years before being honorably discharged in 1987. He later earned his bachelor’s in education at the University of Cincinnati. Ron had a passion for athletics and held jobs as an equipment manager/trainer at Western Hills High School and the University of Cincinnati. His career as an equipment manager was marked by his dedication to helping athletes preform at their very best by giving them the equipment and care needed to excel.
Ron’s hobbies were golfing, fishing, camping, hiking and photography. He loved football and enjoyed taking his father to the Ohio State games.
Ron is lovingly survived by his father and stepmother, Ronald and Barbara Lehman, brother Mark Muench, and son Trevor Canfield. His memory will be forever held in the hearts of his family and friends.
A service to celebrate Ron’s life will be held on May 11th, 2024, at 10:00am at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home, located at 400 Reading Rd, Mason, OH 45040. Following the service, a reception will be held at The Common Beer Co, 126 E Main St, Mason, OH 45040.
Speakers at the service will include Ron’s childhood friend Bob Klatt and chosen kin Trevor Canfield.
Ron’s family kindly requests that donations be made to the Shriners Hospital in Ron’s honor.
Ronald Lehman Jr will be remembered as a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
