Shirley Powell

Shirley J. Powell, born April 20, 1959 in Lebanon, Ohio, to the late Jim and Martha Allen, was welcomed by her Lord and Savior into Heaven on December 30, 2021.  Loving wife and best friend of James Powell Sr., cherished mother of James "J.J" (Tina) Powell and Rachel (Robert) Hall, beloved mamaw of Lilly, Logan, Elijah, Westin, and soon to arrive baby Owen, dear sister of Sue Littlejohn and the late Wanda Allen, beloved cousin of numerous cousin, and cherished friend to many.  Shirley grew up in South Lebanon enjoying life with her family.  She was a woman of strong faith, a woman who was a giver not a receiver, and her favorite job was getting to watch her grandchildren.  The family of Shirley will be receiving friends at Pentecostal Temple (116 S Main St, South Lebanon, OH 45065) on Tuesday, January 4th, 2021 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow beginning at 1:00 PM.  The church encourages those who attend to please wear a mask.
