Sigrid "Sigi" Sherrill

Sigrid (Sigi) Sherrill 9/5/1942 – 7/26/2021

Sigrid Sherrill (nee Rühl) was born in Wuppertal, Germany. She married Charles Ronald Sherrill on 2/5/1963. They raised two children and lived in Ottawa, Illinois, Waukesha, Wisconsin and Mason, Ohio over the years. Sigi had a career in insurance, working for Safeco Insurance Co. for 20+ years before retiring with her husband to Lady Lake, Florida in 1998. She volunteered with WOVA as well as many other organizations in their community.

Sigrid was proceeded in death by her husband, Charles R Sherrill and her brother, Heinz Werner Rühl. She is survived by her two children, Charles Michael Sherrill (Melissa) and Tracy Weisman (Chris) and three grandchildren, Erik Sherrill, Cody Sherrill and Kendall Weisman as well as her sister, Ursula Schumann.

She is loved dearly and will be missed greatly by all.

The family will have a private remembrance at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to your local Veteran’s organization.
