**In Loving Memory of Susan "Susie" Cable**
Susan Cable, affectionately known as Susie, was born on June 6, 1948, in Gastonia, NC. Though she moved at a young age, Mason, Ohio, became her cherished home for the entirety of her life. Susie gently departed from this world on November 3, 2024, in Lebanon, Ohio, at the age of 76, after bravely battling chronic illness.
She was the beloved daughter of Johnnie Edger Hayes and Mary Ruth “Toomey” Hayes, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her dear brother, John Randall “Randy” Hayes, and her cherished granddaughter, Ashley Cable.
Susie leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her devoted sisters, Babara K “Hayes” Duncan and Janice F. Hayes. She was a proud mother to three sons: Matt (Janice) Cable, Ryan (Tracy) Cable, and Scott (Becky) Cable. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, including grandson Brody Cable, and her three beautiful granddaughters, Riley Susan Cable, Jessica Branham, and Jovonne Cable, as well as her great-grandchildren Joella, Jarrett Brewer, and Archer Vires.
One of the greatest gifts in Susie’s life was her incredible friendship with Janet Koller, a bond that spanned 63 years. Their relationship was a testament to the power of love and loyalty, and her family is forever grateful for the years of companionship and sisterhood they shared.
A proud graduate of Mason High School, Susie later retired from Model Graphics in West Chester, Ohio, where her kindness and positivity brightened the workplace. She embodied the principle of “if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all,” and her life was characterized by peace, love, and kindness toward all she encountered.
Although Susie’s physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit continues to inspire those who had the privilege to know her. The void left in our hearts is profound, yet we carry her light forward, cherishing the beautiful memories she gifted us.
May Susie’s memory be a blessing to us all, and may her enduring love shine brightly in our hearts forever.
