Vernon Flannery

Vernon H. Flannery, Born February 3, 1933, passed away October 12, 2015. Vernon was the loving husband of Marlene Flannery (Nee; Besl), the dear father of Michael,Patrick (the late Janet), Noreen (Jim), Maureen (Dave), Kelly (Alan), Shea (Dana) and Shannon (Bo), the cherished grandfather of Greg Campbell, Matt Campbell, Jonathan Flannery, Tom Flannery, Tim Flannery, Jadon Flannery, Jessie Flannery, Kailyn Flannery, and Drew Grisham, and the beloved great grandfather of Mallory Campbell, Mayla Campbell, and Sion Flannery. Vernon was a Marine Corp. Veteran, and Commissioner of Warren County Vet. Family of Vernon will be receiving guests for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home on Thursday October 15, 2015 from 12 Noon – 2:00 PM, with a reception to follow at the American Legion Post 194 from 2:00 -4:00 PM. A graveside service will take place at Harlan Township Cemetery Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association, or The American Kidney Foundation.
